Obituary of Ethel Norton Cartwright

Ethel Norton Cartwright of Endicott Ethel Norton Cartwright, 72, of Endicott, passed away June 6, 2010. She was a resident of Absolut Nursing Home, 301 Nantucket Ave., Endicott and had been a Broome County resident her entire life. Ethel was a survivor, struggling with health problems from birth. She attended sheltered workshop in Binghamton and led as independent a life as she was able. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Hazel (Robbins) Norton. Survivors are her brothers, Warren E. Norton of Endicott and Richard D. Norton (Nan) of Chardon, Ohio; many nephews, a niece, and many cousins. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, 300 E. Main St., Endicott. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 p.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m. Pastor Doug Clark of Central Methodist Church, Endicott will officiate. Burial will be in Hillsgrove, PA. Memorial donations may be made to the Binghamton Sheltered Workshop, 200 Court St., Binghamton, NY 13902.
