Obituary of Edward J. Minnich

Edward J. Minnich of Apalachin Edward J. Minnich, 92, of Apalachin, NY joined his wife of 67 years, Amelia, on Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at Wilson Memorial Hospital. He is predeceased by his brothers, Charles, Walter, Bill, Al and Pete; also his sisters Myrtle, Betty, Lillian, LouAnn and Eleanora. He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Laura Minnich, Endicott, Charles and Jenifer Minnich, Little Meadows, PA; two daughters and sons-in-law, Diane and Daniel Traver, Friendsville, PA, Mary and Jim Barry, Apalachin; one sister and brother-in-law, Ruth and Al Edson, Fishers, IN; eleven grand children and seven great grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Shirley Darrah, Apalachin; a special niece, Carol and Mike, Apalachin. Also several other nieces and nephews. A funeral service for Ed will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday, August 2, 2010 at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, Inc., 765 Main St., Vestal. The Rev. David Parsons, pastor of the Calvary Baptist Tabernacle Church will officiate. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Monday, from 10 A.M. until service time at 11:00 A.M. Those wishing may make contributions in Ed's memory to the charity of their choice.
