Margaret E. Foley | Visit Guest Book Margaret E. Foley of Endicott On Wednesday, August 4, 2010, Margaret E. Foley fell asleep in death at Wilson Medical Center, in Johnson City, New York at the age of 89. Margaret was born in Endicott, New York on June 20, 1921, the daughter of Stephen H. and Emily Brown. She had a brother Roger W. Brown and a sister Mildred Henninger. She would later marry William Foley. All of whom are pre deceased including a nephew, Roger S. Brown. She is survived by a sister in law and close friend Josephine (Brown) Bell of Blue Ridge, Virginia. Nephews: Michael and Ellen Brown of Blue Ridge Virginia; Wesley and Fern Henninger in Ovid, New York; David Henninger of North Carolina. Nieces are Jacqueline and Joseph Cipar of Johnson City, New York; Susan and Dennis Bock of Apalachin, New York. Margaret worked for many years as a seamstress for Fowler's Department Store in Binghamton, New York. She continued making many of her own clothes many years after her retirement. During the mid 1950's she would develop a deep interest and respect for the Bible. She later would become a baptized member of the local congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses in Endicott, New York. Her smile and pleasant personality will be missed, by family and friends alike until she experiences the fulfillment of one of her treasured Biblical verses, "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more. The former things have passed away...Look! I am making all things new" Revelation 21:4, 5. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM on Friday August 13, 2010 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 749 Vestal Parkway-West, Vestal, New York to be preceded by a burial service at 10:00 AM at the Riverside Cemetery in Endicott, New York for family and friends.
