Obituary of Clyde A. Mott

Clyde A. Mott of Endwell, NY Clyde A. Mott born July 20, 1930, left his earthly family, Monday, August 23, 2010. He was predeceased by his sisters Elizabeth (Betty) Cornell and Lillian Moakler; also his brothers, Leon Mott, Charles Mott, Gearld Mott and David (Bud) Mott. He is survived by his sisters, Laura Mott of Bainbridge, NY, Eunice (Mott, Rincavage) Barton of Endwell; his aunt, Julia Vandenburgh, Bainbridge; and uncle, James (Jim) Riley of Oak Harbor, Washington. Also surviving are his nieces and nephews that were so important in his life, Richard Cornell and David Cornell, Anderson, MO, Jean Cornell, Tulsa, Ok, Victoria (Mott) Mitchell, Richmondville, NY, Martin and Kathy Moakler, Alexandria, VA, Timothy and Beth Moakler, Cooperstown, NY, Denise and Mark Conrad, Endwell, Sherri and Fran Compos, Endwell, (Stanley) Sean and Lori Rincavage, Glen Aubrey, Debra and Darrin Avery, Johson City, Timothy and Tiffany Rincavage, Gibson, NY. The joy he had with his nieces and nephews was only exceeded by the joy of his many grand-nieces and nephews. After high school and a tour of duty in the Army in Korea, and completing college, Clyde entered the world of merchandising and found out that the city was not for him. He moved to the "North Country" of New York State as an Agway Manager. Upon his retirement, he moved to Endwell, NY and became very active with his family living there. Clyde also became very active at St. Paul's Episcopal Church's CHOW Program and a member of the church counting team. The last seven years of his life were spent in Oxford, NY at Bida Adult Home where the staff treated him with respect and care. He will be missed by his family and friends. A Memorial Service to celebrate his life will be held Monday, August 30, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 200 Jefferson Ave., Endicott, NY. The Rev. Susanna DesMarais, Rector of St. Paul's, will officiate. Burial will be in the West Bainbridge Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, Inc., 300 E. Main St., Endicott.
