Obituary of Charles B Baran Sr

Charles B. Baran, Sr. Of Endicott Charles B. Baran Sr., 63, of Endicott went peacefully with his Lord, Sunday, October 3, 2010 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. He was predeceased by his parents, John and Amelia Baran; a brother, Darius Baran. He is survived by his wife, H. Charlene Baran, Endicott; children, Charles B. Baran Jr., Germany, Brian and Kelly VanNorman NC, Shawn Baran, Binghamton, Benjamin Baran, Endicott, Kimberly Baran Hazelton, PA, Kathleen Baran Binghamton, Amelia Baran Endicott, Holly Baran Endicott; stepsons, Phil Parisot, Newark Valley and Dan Parisot, Binghamton; stepdaughter, Christine Snyder, Texas; several grandchildren; two brothers, Fr. Jody Baran and Joseph and Janice Baran, Hazelton, PA; sister and brother-in-law, Carol Leigh and Conrad Shellock Whitehaven, PA; sister-in-laws, Anne Gage Rushville, PA, Jeanne and David Hoag, Endicott; several nieces and nephews. He was a retired employee of Broome County Transit with over 20 Years of Service, Veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the US Army, a member of the PA and NY National Guard. Funeral Services will be held Thursday at 10:30AM from the Coleman and Daniels Funeral Home Inc, 300 East Main St., Endicott and 11AM from Sts. Peter and Paul Church, Watson Blvd., Endicott where the Divine Liturgy will be offered by his brother, Fr. Jody Baran. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park where full military orders will be accorded by the Broome County Veterans Memorial Assn. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Thursday from 9:30AM until 10:30AM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the DAV, Attn.
