Obituary of Mary A. Lavo

Mary A. Lavo, 85 of Endicott passed away on Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at Lourdes Hospital. She was predeceased by her parents, Vincent and Asunta Lavo, brothers Carl and Raymond Lavo a niece Carol (Lavo) Blazey, grand niece Heather Blazey and a grand nephew Joe Santacrose. She is survived by her sister Anna (Lavo) Santacrose, sisters-in-law Dorothy (Ray) Lavo, Kimi (Carl) Lavo and many beloved nieces and nephews. She was a charter member of Our Lady of Good Counsel and was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church, Endicott. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters, the Nocturnal Adoration Society and the Altar and Rosary Society. She was always quietly helping her family and she was always there for them. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2010 at 10 am from St. Ambrose Catholic Church 203 Washington Ave, Endicott. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City, NY. The family will receive their friends on Friday from 6 to 8 pm at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, 300 E. Main St. Endicott, NY 13760. The family wishes to thank the Lourdes staff at ICU and Ross 1.
