Obituary of Richard B. Simmonds

Richard B. Simmonds Richard B. Simmonds Esq., 63, of Binghamton, formerly of Auburn, NY, passed away Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at Lourdes Hospital, Binghamton, NY. He was predeceased by his father, William J Simmonds. He is survived by his loving wife of over 25 years, Nina, of Windy Hill Farm, Binghamton. His mother, Joyce Simmonds of Auburn, NY, two brothers and sisters-in-law, William and Nancy Simmonds of Auburn and Robert and Patricia Simmonds of Auburn. He is also survived by two sisters and brothers-in-law, Debra and William Hulik of Auburn and Elizabeth (Jodie) and James Brinley of East Hartford, Conn. In addition, he is survived by 9 nieces and nephews and 5 great nieces and nephews. Richard was a graduate of the University of Vermont and the Delaware Law School. He had a law practice for over 30 years in Dover, NJ. There will be no calling hours. The family will have a celebration of Richard's life at a later date. He had a life long love for animals and especially cherished his dogs, Barkley and Zoe. In keeping with his wishes, any contributions can be made to the Humane Society or the SPCA in his name in lieu of flowers. Arrangements are being made by Coleman and Daniels Funeral Home, 300 E. Main St. Endicott, NY
