Robert C. Fales God needed another player at his big poker game in the sky so he opened his gates for Robert C. Fales, 65, of Endwell. He passed away with his family by his side on Monday, November 1, at his home and is finally able to see the faces of his adoring family. He is survived by his devoted wife, Barbara (Boochie) of 45 years; his daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Michael Cronk and their three lovely children, Stephanie, Danielle and Austin; his son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Lisa Fales and their two beautiful daughters, Madalyn and Allyson. Also, he is survived by his brother, Frank (Yo Bro) and wife Mary, brother, John and wife Heia; and brother-in-law, William Rhodes; sister-in-law, Dolores Fales; brother-in-law, William Tuttle and wife Bonnie; sister-in-law, Brenda and husband Peter; brother-in-law, Barry and wife Melody Tuttle; and many loved nieces, nephews, cousins, and all his friends. Special thanks to his Monday night and Friday morning breakfast cronies, Rich, Lew and Greg. He was predeceased by his parents, John and Helen Fales; his brother, William; and sister, Barbara Rhodes; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Clarence and Ruth Tuttle. He was an honorably discharged veteran of the Air Force. He taught several college-level courses at Onondaga and Broome Community colleges. He also hosted a morning public service radio program. He was a 30-year retiree from IBM, most years spent in Personnel and Education. His greatest joys in life were his family, his many trips to the casinos, his cigars on the porch and his love of music. Our family will receive friends at 4 p.m. at the Church of the Holy Family in Endwell on Thursday night until a church mass at 6 p.m. The family requests that no flowers be sent but instead consider being an organ donor or making a donation to the American Heart Association , 59 Court St., Binghamton, NY 13901.
