Obituary of Thomas Swan

Thomas Swan Thomas Swan, of Brackney, PA, passed away after a long illness. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Nita Swan; son, Craig Swan and wife, Mara; daughter, Robin Palmer and husband, Dale; daughter, Amy Berg and husband, George; eight grandchildren, Madden and Jacob Swan, Seth, Evan and Corbin Palmer, Brittany, Xoxo Stephie, and Zenec Harris. Tom worked for 30 years at IBM. After his retirement, he was a Silver Lake Township Supervisor for 16 years. While he always put family first, he was highly committed to and proud of his community. His contagious sense of humor always left everyone with a smile. The family would like to thank Dr. Malkin and his nurses, Cindy and Eve for their personal care and support. Arrangements are by Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home. Per Tom's request, there will be no calling hours. A celebratory mass will be at St. Augustine Church in Brackney at 1PM Thursday, November 18, 2010. A gathering is planned to follow at Silver Lake Fire hall.
