Obituary of Joan B Hamlin

Joan B. (Aton) Hamlin Joan B (Aton) Hamlin, 76 of Center Lisle, passed away on Friday November 26, 2010 surrounded by her family, after a courageous 45 year battle with diabetes. She was predeacesed by her parents David and Mabel Aton. Joan is survived by her devoted husband of 58 years Eugene F Hamlin; children Deborah Hamlin, Michael E. (Suzanne) Hamlin, Rebecca (Larry) Kawa and Tamara Swartz. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren, Caroline, Steven, Francis, Michael F, KaSarah, Jamie and MacKenzie; and one great-grandchild Brittany. Joan was an excellent crafts person and spent many years with the Broome County Home Bureau, and also serving as their treasurer. Her family would like to express their gratitude and appreciation to Dr. Ramanujan and his staff for their dedication and years of loyal services. Funeral and Interment Services will be held Monday at 6PM from the Coleman and Daniels Funeral Home Inc, 300 East Main St, Endicott. Pastor Rex Bell of the Life Quest Community Church will officiate. Entombment will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 4PM until service time at 6.
