Obituary of Henrietta Chaplinski

Henrietta Chaplinski Henrietta Chaplinski, age 85, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 15, 2010. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Jerry; her parents, Stella and Constantine Brzezinski; and her brother, Stanley. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Christine and Jonathon Myers (Vestal, NY); her son and daughter-in-law, Gerard Chaplinski Jr. and Donna Thomas (North Plainfield, NJ); and her son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Christine Chaplinski (Union, NJ). She is also survived by her two grandchildren, Sam Myers (Pittsburgh, PA) and Zach Myers (Binghamton, NY); her brother, Walter Brzezinski (PA); and numerous relatives. Mom cherished the many friendships that she made as a counselor for Birthright of Binghamton, a Religious Ed teacher at St. Vincent De Paul, and as a resident of Castle Gardens, her "paradise". She was a devoted mother and grandmother. At family gatherings she always brought her sense of humor, optimism and "Polish wisdom" to the table. She often told us that we were her sunshine; with her bright smile and her warm, loving personality, she was ours. She will be greatly missed. Our family is most grateful to the kind, compassionate people who provided her with comfort and care. We give our thanks to Linda. Teresa, Susan, and Sister Frederica of Lourdes Hospice, the staff of Castle Gardens, and Willow Point Nursing Home. Henrietta's family will receive friends at Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, 300 E.
