Obituary of Nancy L. Russell

Nancy L. Russell Nancy L. Russell passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, December 18, after a lengthy illness. She was predeceased by her parents Andrew and Martha Matson, her brother Charles Matson, and her son Kevin Russell. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Darryle, her son Andy and his wife Robbin, and her son Terry and his wife Ellen, her brother James Matson and his wife Janice, and many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her dear friends Carol and Charlie Reed, Joanne Williams, and Jim Culp and all the hunting friends at the cabin, her sister-in-law, Ester and her ex daughters-in-law, Rona and Shari. Nancy also left behind her adopted family, the "Taylor Clan" where she spent many joyous celebrations. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother and loyal and faithful friend. She will be sadly missed. A Memorial Service for Nancy will be held Monday, December 27, 2010, at 12:00 P.M. at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, Inc., St. Rt. 434, Apalachin, NY. The Rev. Mary Jean Simonin, Pastor of the Apalachin United Methodist Church will officiate. Interment will be at the family's convenience. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Monday, from 10:00 a.m. until service time at 12:00 Noon.
