Obituary of Terrence (Terry) C. Berge

Terrence (Terry) C. Berge Of Berkshire, NY Terrence (Terry) C. Berge of Berkshire, NY passed away March 1st, 2011, following an admirable fight with brain cancer. He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather Alexander Koval, and paternal grandparents Sylvia and Christopher Berge. He is survived by his devoted wife Marika (Donenko), and his beloved children Brandon and Ashley; he is also survived by his mother Saundra and Carl Wall, and his father Charles and Fredi Berge; his loving sister Alexandra Berge Grisanti ; his paternal grandmother Anne Koval; Uncle Craig (Louise) Koval; cousin Rebecca. Terry also is survived by his father and mother in-Iaw George and Kathy Donenko and son Alex Donenko; mother and father in-law Linda Smith and Keith Maker. Terry was known as a hard worker, through the years he drove motor coaches for several area firms, was a school bus driver for the Whitney Point School District, worked for the Binghamton Country Club, and most recently was an owner/operator for a Freihofer's and related bakery products. Terry was always willing to help those in need. He was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Russian Orthodox Church all of his life. The family wishes to thank the Newark Valley Class of 1990, the Zooney Fest organizers, and the members of Sts. Peter and Paul church for their love and support throughout his illness. The family will receive family and friends on Thursday at Sts. Peter and Paul Russian Orthodox Church, on 210 Hill Ave, Endicott NY, from 5pm until 8pm with the Panikhida being served at 7pm. The funeral will be held at 11am on Friday also at Sts. Peter and Paul Russian Orthodox Church. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in Terry's memory can be sent to: Marika Berge at 486 Tubbs Hill Rd, Berkshire NY, 13736 to be held in trust for his children Brandon and Ashley.
