Obituary of Robert M Corby III

Robert M. Corby Of Apalachin Robert M. Corby III, 79, of Apalachin, beloved husband of the late Joan Corby, went to be with the Lord on March 14, 2011 after a brief illness. He was the son of the late Alice and Robert Corby and was born on August 30, 1931 in Scranton, PA. He was a member of St. Margaret Mary's Catholic Church and was a Korean War Veteran who will be dearly missed by family and friends. He was preceded in death by one son, James Corby, and a grand-daughter, Julie Jackson. He is survived by two sons, Michael Berry of Binghamton, and Robert Corby of Waldorf, MD; four daughters, Jeanne Skibinski of Scranton, PA, Kathy Warwick of Vestal, Laura Corby of Little Meadows, PA and Linda O'Shay of Dumfries, VA; two brothers, one sister, ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild. The family would like to thank the Doctors and Nurses at Wilson Memorial Hospital for their efforts. Viewing will be held on Friday, March 18, 2011, starting at 10:00 AM at Blessed Trinity at St. Margaret Mary's Catholic Church, 1110 Pennsylvania Avenue, Apalachin, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. Arrangements are by the Coleman and Daniels Funeral Home Inc.St Rt 434, Apalachin.
