Obituary of Bernard J. Smithka

Bernard J. Smithka Vestal: Bernard J. (Bernie) Smithka, 50 of Vestal passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 17, 2011. He is survived by 2 sons, Bernard J. Smithka Jr. and Patrick E, Smithka, his mother Roberta Smithka and his father Bernard (Consuela) Smithka, 2 sisters Shelly Weaver and Brenda Smithka, several nieces and nephews. Bernie was a loving and wonderful son, father, and brother. He loved to go fishing, hunting and camping. He was a very devoted Buffalo Bills fan. He was a talented woodworker and loved working with his hands. He leaves behind his beloved pets, Zeek, Penny, Shadow, Buddy, Midnight, Troubles, Sally and Slinky. A celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at 6 pm at the Coleman and Daniels Funeral Home 765 Main St. Vestal. The family will receive their friends on Tuesday from 5 pm until the time of service at the funeral home.
