Obituary of Patricia J. Bond

Patricia J. (Silvia) Bond Patricia J. Bond was reunited with her soul mate, David, on March 19, 2011. She is survived by her loving children: Lynn Bond (John Bender), Susanne Mertens (Christopher Mertens) and Michael Bond (Virginia Garren); her grandchildren, Michael J. Bond, Camron & Damon Mertens, Cassidy, Abigail & David Bond and John Bender V were all her pride and joy. She is also survived by her loving brother-in-law, Michael Bond; and a special aunt, Helen Farrell. Her cat, Baby, offered her daily comfort and companionship. She is also survived by other family members and friends. Patricia was born in Fall River, MA on June 22, 1941. She was an avid fan of the Red Sox and Patriots. Many will remember Patricia's boisterous laugh, Boston accent and her wonderful sense of humor. She was known as "one tough Portugie", dealing with her many health issues. Patricia loved to scratch her lottery tickets and "going for rides", with Lynn, to Tioga Downs. She was so proud of her Marines, Michael and John. Rest in Peace, Patsy, we love you. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Patricia's name to Vestal Dialysis, LLC, 116 N. Jensen Road, Vestal, NY. Thank you for your comforting care during her dialysis treatments. Funeral and Interment services will be held Friday at 3 p.m. from the Coleman and Daniels Funeral Home Inc., 300 East Main St., Endicott. Deacon Thomas Harley will officiate. Burial will be in St. Stanislaus Kostka Cemetery at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home Friday from 1 p.m. until service time at 3.
