Obituary of Pauline Hangen

Pauline Hangen Endwell: Pauline Hangen, 96, of Endwell, passed away Palm Sunday evening, April 17, 2011 at Hilltop Campus (JGJ Nursing Home) after a brief bout with an upper respiratory illness. She was predeceased by her parents, Myron and Kate Lucas; sisters, Rose Dewey, Ida Tonereau, Anna Slack, Amanda Chartraw, Minnie Schmidt and brothers, Henry Schmidt and twin brother, Paul Lucas. She is survived by her husband, Paul Hangen and sons, Richard Kline, Sr., Todd Hangen, Bruce Hangen and Jay Hangen. She also had seven grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Pauline was an LPN for many years. She worked at hospitals in Broken Bow, NE, Gothenburg, NE and Loveland, CO. She loved music, gardening and was at her best in the kitchen. Special thanks to Jay and Ellen Decatur for their loving and caring support during Pauline's stay at Hilltop. The nursing staff at Hilltop is so outstanding - they care and it shows. Pauline was a devoted wife and mother and leaves behind nothing but good memories. Services will be held at Mobile Memorial Gardens in Mobile, AL.
