Obituary of Peter S Supa

Peter F. Supa After a loving and fulfilling life, Peter F. Supa, 80, of Johnson City, NY, entered into God's arms on May 18, 2011. He was predeceased by his parents, Andrew and Anna Supa; three sisters, Mary Perchinsky, Anna Supa, Anna Krowiak; and five brothers, John, Michael, Andrew, George, Alex. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Alice; his son and wife, Stephen and Ann; four grandchildren, Courtney, Kaitlyn, Stephanie, Ethan; his sister and husband, Olga and Jim Demoski; sister in law, Louise Supa and several nieces and nephews. He retired from IBM after 37 years and was an instructor of the Dale Carnegie Course for 35 years. He served on the Town of Maine Planning Board, was President of the Homestead Beagle Club and the Administrative Management Society. He was an active member and a founder of God's Garden, which contributes to the soup kitchen at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church. Peter enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and traveling and had a sense of humor and love of life that added joy to anyone fortunate enough to know him. He was also quick to pinch in whenever he saw someone in need. The family wishes to thank Mobile Hyperbaric Center, Dr. Novak and the Kidney Dialysis Unit at Guthrie, and Lourdes at Home for the care and support shown to Peter and his family. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Peter's memory to God's Garden in care of Our Lady of Good Counsel, 701 West Main St., Endicott, NY 13760 or another charity of your choice. Funeral Services for Peter will be held Wednesday at 9:30 A.M. from the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, 300 East Main St., Endicott, and 10:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church where a Funeral Mass will be offered. Friends may call at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home at 300 East Main St., Endicott, NY from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 P.M on Tuesday, May 31st.
