Obituary of Frederick Joseph Bettencourt

Fred Bettencourt Vestal: Frederick Joseph Bettencourt, of Vestal, NY passed away on his 91st birthday, June 12, 2011. He was preceded in death by his wife Helen Francis Bettencourt and is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Mark and Patty Bettencourt, John and Nancy Bettencourt; grandchildren, Katy (husband, Jerry) Pennington, Kristen, Lauren and Lisa; several in-laws, nieces and nephews. Fred was an avid golfer and New England sports fan, especially the Red Sox. He was always known for his wit and humor. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2011 at 10:00 am from St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church, 165 Clifton Blvd. Vestal, NY with the Rev. Edward Zandy officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive their friends on Friday from 4 to 7 pm at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, 765 Main St. Vestal, NY.
