Ada M. (Fedora) Rouse
Endicott: Ada M. Rouse went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 1, 2011. She was born in Endicott on June 26, 1931 and was the daughter of the late Charles and Althea (Fedora) Rouse. Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Richard A. Rouse Sr. and several brothers and sisters. She is survived by her five children, Diane Rouse, Rev. Richard A. (Pam) Rouse Jr., LuAnn (Bruce) Hadsell, Charlotte (Robert) Connis, and Walter (Mary) Rouse; eight grandchildren, Siobohn, Mark, Nicchia, Michael, Brian, Blake, Eric and Corinne; seven great-grandchildren, Sarah, Camryn, Hannah, Cheyenne, Johnathan, Kaia, and Olivia; a brother, Raymond (Carol) Fedora Sr.; and a sister, Sarah Creller; several loving nieces and nephews. Ada was a longtime and very active member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Endicott, NY prior to its closing and was an active member of Central United Methodist Church, Endicott. Music was a big part of her life. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the West Endicott Fire Dept. She was very loved by all who knew her. We would like to thank the Caregivers at Vestal Park and Rehabilitation Center (Whispering Pines) for the Loving Care they have given her over the past 8 years.
Funeral Services for Ada will be held on Wednesday, October 5, 2011, at 10 a.m. from the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, 300 E. Main St. Endicott with her son, Rev. Richard A. Rouse Jr., officiating. Burial will follow at Vestal Hills Memorial Park, Vestal. The family will receive their friends on Tuesday, October 4, 2011, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may make a donation in Ada's memory to Vestal Park and Rehabilitation Center, 860 Old Vestal Lane, Vestal, NY 13850, Attention: Denise Johnson.
