Obituary of Warren E. Norton

Warren E. Norton, Sr. Warren Ernest "Bud" Norton, Sr., 76, passed away October 27, 2011 at the New York State Veteran's Home in Oxford, NY. He was born November 27, 1934 and had lived previously in Endicott, NY. He is survived by children, Warren Jr. (Emily) of East Branch, NY, Holly (William) Tabor of Kentucky and Daniel (Sarah) of South Carolina and grandchildren, Zoie, Reece, Ryan, Colin, Christopher, Dana, Erin and his brother, Richard D. (Nan) Norton of Chardon, OH. and three nephews and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter L. and Hazel (Robbins) Norton and sister, Ethel Norton Cartwright. Bud served in the U.S. Navy and the Army Reserves. He worked as a barber for many years and for the Town of Union. Bud enjoyed playing guitar. He especially liked to read and memorize Scripture and he truly loved the Lord. He was a member of Central Methodist Church in Endicott. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Monday, November 7, 2011 at Coleman and Daniels Funeral Home, 300 E. Main St., Endicott , The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 am until service time at 11:00am. Committal will be in Hillsgrove Pennsylvania Cemetery that afternoon.
