Obituary of Emma L. Wood

Emma Wood Wood,Emma L. Formerly of Vestal: Loved by her family, friends and church, Emma Lindsley Johnson Wood, passed into the presence of her Lord quietly in her sleep on January 18, 2012. She was one hundred years old. She is preceded in death by two husbands, a step son, her mom, dad, sister, Alma Pauler. She is survived by four nieces three nephews, eighteen grand nieces and nephews, twelve great grand nieces and nephews, a step daughter and step son, a foster grandniece and nephew; a sister in law, Marilyn. The funeral will be held at Twin Orchards Baptist Church in Vestal, New York, on Thursday, January 26, at four o'clock in the afternoon. The family will receive their friends at the church on Thursday from 2 p.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, please send any gifts you wish to the disaster relief fund at Twin Orchards Baptist Church. Arrangements are with the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, Vestal.
