Obituary of John Racine

John Racine John Racine, of Center Lisle, went home to be with the Lord on February 6, 2012, at the age of 75, while doing one of his favorite outdoor activities. He was a faithful and devoted husband and father, having been married for the past 45 years to Dawn Vergason Racine. He is also survived by his two loving daughter, Laurie Racine Wood and Lucinda Racine; his son-in-law, Kevin Wood; his granddaughter, Norah Wood; his sister, Mary Toman; and many nieces and nephews. He retired from IBM after 34 years of service. His favorite activities included working on cars, cutting wood and attending auctions. In the past, he liked being a beef farmer and enjoyed fishing and hunting. He will be greatly missed. The family will receive friends and relatives at the Coleman and Daniels Funeral Home, 300 E. Main Street, Endicott on Saturday from 1-2:30 p.m. followed by the service at 2:30 p.m. Burial will be in Nanticoke Valley Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
