Obituary of Mark T. Peters

Mark T. Peters Mark T. Peters, 35, of Vestal, went to be with the Lord Thursday, February 9, 2012 at the Wilson Memorial Regional Medical Center. He was predeceased by his sister, Rachel, and his grandparents, Bud and Evelyn Peters, and Homer and Doris Gow. He is survived by his father, Timothy M Peters of Vestal; his mother and stepfather, Rebecca and James Baker of Endicott; his siblings Elizabeth and Jeremiah Newton of Endicott; Andrew and Jennifer Peters of Guilderland, NY; Katherine and David Cummiskey of Endicott; his two beloved nieces, Rachel and Josephine; many aunts, uncles and cousins; and his close circle of friends. Mark was an avid New York Yankee fan. He also enjoyed the New York Giants, his Coca-Cola collection, hunting, fishing and the outdoors. He took great joy in spending time with his nieces, and was eagerly anticipating the arrival of his third niece. Life presented Mark with many difficulties and challenges, which he faced with dignity, bravery and perseverance. He was truly an inspiration to everyone whose lives he touched. A Funeral Mass will be offered Monday at 11 AM from Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Vestal. Burial will be in Vestal Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Coleman and Daniels Funeral Home Inc, 765 Main St, Vestal Sunday from 2-5 PM.
