Obituary of Hilda I. Klym

Hilda Klym (1926 - 2012) Apalachin, NY: Hilda I. Klym, formerly of Apalachin NY, joined her husband, Nicholas, in heaven on Monday, February 20, 2012. She is survived by her son, Nicholas (Mary) Klym Jr. of Spencer, NY; grandchildren, Christina White, Binghamton, NY, Michael (Stephanie) Klym, Spencer, NY, Jennifer (Steve) Ritenour, Germantown, MD, great grandchildren Amber Brown, Dale White and Katelyn Klym. She is also survived by sisters, Mildred Juser and Margaret Klym; sister-in-law, Joy Williams; and brother-in-law, Herbert Newlin and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Hilda is predeceased by her, parents Fremont and Marion Williams; husband, Nicholas Klym; sisters, Alice Sink, Dorothy Newlin and Helen Hotaling; brothers, Francis Williams, Raymond Williams and Harry Williams. Hilda was born August 23, 1926 in LeRaysville, PA. She worked several years at Endicott Johnson before moving with her husband to work on their farms, first in Warren Center, PA and later in Litchfield, PA. After leaving the farm, Hilda retired from working at SUNY Binghamton. Hilda was a member of the Sacred Heart Church in Johnson City, NY. She enjoyed camping with her husband and family and going on bus trips with her sister Margaret to many country music and polka festivals. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting and doing beautiful needlework. Funeral Services for Hilda will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2012 at 11 a.m. from the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, State Route 434, Apalachin with Father Teodor Czabala Jr. of Sacred Heart Church officiating. Burial will be in Neath Cemetery, Neath, PA. The family will receive their friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
