Obituary of Marion G. Campbell

Marion G. Campbellof EndwellMarion G. Campbell, 84, went peacefully to be with her heavenly Father on December 23, 2008. She was predeceased by her parents, Fred and Bessie Cleveland; brothers, Robert and Graydon Cleveland; and her loving husband of 54 years, William D. Campbell, Sr. She is survived by her loving family, daughter, Jacklyn (Kenneth) Billo; sons, William (Susan) Campbell, and Thomas (Pamela) Campbell; grandchildren, Kimberly (John) Vicente, Scott (Natalie) Billo, Jeffrey Billo (Erika Wilson), Ryan (Julie) Campbell, Lauren Campbell (Jared Ouye), Jennifer (Steve) Granger, Adam (Karen) Campbell; and nine great-grandchildren; brother, Albert (Patricia) Cleveland; sisters, Barbara Tripp and Norma Zopp; sisters-in-law, Mary Heater and Helen Campbell; many nieces and nephews; a dear friend, Vi Nunn; and many wonderful friends and neighbors. She was a faithful and devoted member of the First Presbyterian Church of Johnson City. She was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be deeply missed by everyone. The family would like to thank the staff at Broome Oncology and a special thank you to Dr. Ronald Harris for their loving care of Marion, and also to Lourdes Hospice for their care and support. Funeral services will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m. from the First Presbyterian Church of Johnson City, 2 Main St., Johnson City. The Rev. Robert T. Peak, Pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, Inc., 300 East Main St., Endicott, Sunday from 3-6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Johnson City, 2 Main St., Johnson City, N.Y. 13790; or Lourdes Hospice, 4102 Vestal Rd., Vestal, N.Y. 13850.
