Obituary of George G Titus

Emory G. Titus Sr. Emory George Titus, Sr., beloved husband and father, passed into the loving arms of Jesus Wednesday, March 21, 2012. He was surrounded by his loving wife of 63 years, his children and grandchildren. Born April 1, 1931 in Endicott, NY, he is survived by his beloved wife, Elsie R. Titus; his 8 children, daughter and son-in-law Carolyn and Ted Hurlbut, son and daughter-in-law Gary and Karen Titus, son and daughter-in-law Dave and Sandra Titus, son and daughter-in-law Greg and Janet Titus, daughter and son-in-law Peggie and Steven Webb, son and daughter-in-law Emory III and Renee Titus, son and daughter-in-law Richard and Carolyn Titus, and son Jim. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Emory G. Titus, Sr. retired from Amphenol/Cadre Corp. in 1994 after 30 years of service. He was a faithful member of the Endicott Community Church of the Nazarene for over 50 years, serving in many leadership positions for the church. He was a noted author of 3 books written over the past few years, former member of Endwell Community chorus and Toastmasters, and also an active member of the Endicott Senior Center. He will be dearly missed by his beloved wife, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, and the many lives he touched over the years. Calling hours will be at the Endicott Community Church of the Nazarene, located on Union Center Highway in Union Center, on Saturday, March 24 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. with the funeral service immediately following.
