Obituary of Elias John Koutsaris

Elias J. Koutsaris Elias John Koutsaris, who was born on Tuesday, February 8th, 2011, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 22nd, 2012 (He was 13 Months and 2 weeks old) He is survived by " MaMa and BaBa", John and Karyn Koutsaris, Endwell; his grandparents "YiaYia and Papou" Louis and Argie Koutsaris, Endicott, "MiMi" Diane Ryan, Endicott, Daniel Ryan, Binghamton; Aunt Georgia Koutsaris, Arlington, VA; Uncle Mark and Aunt MaryKay Ryan and their children, Mark, Mason, and Megan of Endicott; Uncle Michael and Aunt Jennifer Ryan and their children, Quinn and Declan, Lindenhurst, NY; Uncle John B. Ryan, Endicott; many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, classmates and teachers and others too numerous to mention. He was an angel sent from above that touched so many people with his smile and kindness. Elias loved music, Elmo and different gadgets. Special thanks to all who helped with the benefit in January and thanks to all the staff of Golisano Children's Hospital (11G) in Syracuse, NY. Funeral Services for Elias will be held on Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at 10:15 a.m. from the Greek Orthodox Church of the Annunciation, 4121 Ohara Dr., Vestal, with Father Michael Bahlatzis officiating. Burial will be in Riverhurst Cemetery, Endwell. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 3:00 to 7:30 p.m. at the church with Trisagion services to be held at 7:00 p.m. The family is asking for friends and family to wear yellow on Wednesday in honor of Elias. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Golisano Children's Hospital 750 E. Adams St., CAB Room 326, Syracuse, NY 13210; The American Cancer Society , 13 Beech St., Johnson City, NY 13790; or the Jorge Posada Foundation for Cranial Surgery, 27 West 20th St. 9th floor, NY, NY 10011 in Elias's honor.
