Obituary of Viola E Thompson

Viola E. Thompson Vestal: Viola E. Thompson of Vestal passed away peacefully Monday, March 26, at Willow Point Nursing Center. Viola was predeceased by her husband, Charles F. Thompson Jr.; her mother and father, Marion and Ira Ward; as well as her siblings, Velma Woolever, Carlton Ward, Eleanor Crawford, Douglas Ward, Martha Noyes, Claude Ward; in-laws, Charles and Reeta Thompson; and many more extended family members. Nothing was more important to Viola on this earth than her family. She is survived by her son, Robert Thompson (wife Karen); and daughter, Charlene McCormick (husband Jim). Also surviving are the joys of her life, grandchildren Andrew Thompson (wife Shannon), Patrick McCormick (wife Kelly), Todd McCormick (wife Jennifer), Katie Kohlbach (husband Jim), and Kevin McCormick (fiance Kristen). Also surviving are sister, JoAnn Barton (husband Jack); several in-laws, and many nieces and nephews. "Mom, we could not have been blessed with a more kind and loving mother, grandmother, or great-grandmother. Go in peace, be happy, and know that you are loved more than you could have ever imagined."
