Obituary of Sarah E Stephens

Sarah Elizabeth Stephens On Saturday, April 21, 2012, Sarah Elizabeth Stephens was unexpectedly carried home to heaven to live forever with Jesus. She was born May 5, 1981 in Johnson City, NY. Sarah was a loving, generous, and trusting soul who loved music, DVDs, clothes shopping, and buying things for others. Her loving personality positively affected all those who knew her. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Johnson City, NY. Her love for children led her to work there in the Awana program and nursery. She will be remembered forever by family and friends who are left behind. She is survived by her loving parents, Mike and Diane Stephens; her brother, Bryan; sister-in-law, Sarah; and nephew, Jackson Stephens; her grandpa, Bud Stephens; her aunts and uncles, Carl and Carolyn Andreasen, Mark and Chris Root, Shelly and Bill Efland, Kevin Stephens, Keith Stephens, and Debbie Stephens; her cousins, Derek and Keith Andreasen, Jen (Karl) Dodge, Amanda (Greg) Corson and their children, Jacob, Liam, Lana, and Maura, Elijah Stephens, Erica Stephens, Erin Durham and Trey Efland; and her special friend, Josh Hanousek. A memorial service honoring Sarah will be held on Friday, April 27, 2012, at 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church, 1321 Reynolds Rd., Johnson City. The family will receive friends Thursday, April 26, 2012, at the church from 3-6 p.m. Those wishing can make donations in Sarah's memory to the Benevolent Fund at First Baptist Church of Johnson City.
