Obituary of Regina L. Barnhart

Barnhart, Regina (Jean) Poirier Owego: Regina (Jean) Poirier Barnhart, age 70, of Owego, NY, passed away at her home on June 18, 2012. She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Stanley Barnhart (2010) and her daughter, Lyndia Barnhart (1969). She is survived by her children, Walter, Chris, Penny Grasberger, Harold, Raymond and wife Penny, Alice and husband Marwan Maraheel, Amy and husband Timothy Scott. Also surviving are two sisters, Virginia Winters (VA), Laura Naab (VA) and one brother, Fredrick Poirier (NY). Regina loved spending time with her 21 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. She retired from UE schools after working as a school bus driver for 19 years. She loved traveling with her husband and her family, and was a tour bus driver in the Grand Canyon and Bar Harbor, ME. She also enjoyed playing cards and dominoes, and was an avid thimble collector. She was a life member of the Campville Fire Auxiliary, and an accomplished cake decorator and painter. A Memorial Service for Regina will be held on Saturday, June 23rd, at 3:00 p.m. at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, 300 E. Main St. in Endicott. Rev. Rollin Howard will officiate.
