Obituary of Edward Thomas

Edward E. Thomas of Endicott Edward E. Thomas, 85, of Endicott, died peacefully Thursday, January 1, 2009, at the Willow Point Nursing Home. He is survived by his loving wife, Marion (Terwilliger) Thomas and two sons, Michael Thomas, Kevin and Jeanette Thomas; four grandchildren, Aaron, Josh, Hannah and Rebeckah; also four step-children, Richard and Midge Terwilliger, Jim and Janice Terwilliger, Kenna and Jerry Skrivan, Lori Briggs; five grandsons and three granddaughters; and three very special great-grandchildren, David, Kailey and Cassidy. He was a Veteran of WWII serving in the U.S. Navy and was a member of American Legion Post #1700 West Endicott. He loved antiquing and genealogy and worked with the Historic Society. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, archery and camping with his grandchildren. Funeral and Interment Services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. from the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, Inc., 300 E. Main St., Endicott. The Rev. Edward Zandy, pastor of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Endicott, officiating. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Sunday from 1 p.m. until service time at 2 p.m.
