Obituary of Rosemary I. Frey

Frey, Rosemary I. Vestal Center Rosemary I. Frey, 76, of Vestal Center, went to be with her Lord Friday, June 29, 2012, at her home in Vestal Center. She was predeceased by her parents, Doris and Homer Imes. She is survived by her husband, Robert Frey of Vestal Center; son, Daniel Frey and his wife Maryanne of Auburn, NY; daughters, Rebecca Frey and Amber Lionflame of Vestal Center; brother, Robert Imes and sister- in-law Nancy Imes of Lawrenceburg, IN; and three granddaughters, Alicia Chapin, Veronica Chapin and Doris Chapin. She was a Chemical Engineer graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology in 1960 and worked for Qzalid Corporation in Johnson City, NY for three years, and then was a homemaker and loving wife for the remainder of her life. She was an active member of the Vestal Center United Methodist Church for 42 years, held many positions in the church and was a Lay Speaker in the United Methodist Church. Her hobbies and interests included gardening, antiques, and working in the church. A Memorial Service will be held at the Vestal Center Methodist Church, 478 West Hill Rd., Vestal, NY, on Wednesday, July 11, at 11:00 am. Rev. Ronald Wenzinger and Rev Jeffrey Aiosa will conduct the service. The family will receive friends at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the service at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in her memory to the Vestal Center United Methodist Church.
