Obituary of Howard D. Tewksbury

Tewksbury, Howard D. Howard D. Tewksbury, 70, of Vestal, passed away on July 3, 2012 at his home after a courageous battle with cancer. He was predeceased by his parents, Howard S. and Belva Tewksbury; and a sister, Janet (Bernard) Hassett. He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Bonnie Tewksbury; a sister, Joyce (Fred) Henyan, Port Crane; and a brother, Robert E. (Julie) Tewksbury, Walesko, GA; his mother-in-law, Dorothy Coleman, Johnson City; and several nieces and nephews. Howard worked for over 45 years in food services, having worked for ARA Services and American Food & Vending. In his spare time he enjoyed playing golf, gardening and fishing. Funeral Services for Howard will be held on Saturday, July, 7, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. from the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, 300 E. Main St., Endicott with the Rev. David C. Seaver officiating. Burial will be in Vestal Hills at the convenience of the family. The family will receive their friends on Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory are requested to an Animal Shelter of one's choice.
