Obituary of Richard J. Oris

Oris, Richard J. Richard J. Oris went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 1, 2012. He is survived by his wife Donna, his children, who gave of their time and love to help care for him, Patricia (John) Edgar, Julie (Ken) Heikkila, and Richard (Judee) Oris Jr. , his grandchildren Joseph Jackson, Peter (Heather) Jackson, Michael (Lindsey) Jackson, Caitlin Oris, and David Oris, his great-grandchildren Gavin, Garrett, Danny, and AnnMarie Jackson. Richard is also survived by his sister Dorothy Lavo, sister-in-law and brother-in-law Shirley and John Hills and many nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his parents Joseph and Jena Oris, his brother Robert Oris, and his grandson Bryan Klimchuck. Richard was employed by the Endicott-Johnson Corp. for 45 years. The family would like to thank Dr. Gary Dean and his staff, Dr. Nicholas Stamato and Kristin Lewis, NP, the Union Volunteer Emergency Squad, and Lourdes Hospice for their care of Richard. The family will receive friends on Friday August 3rd from 6:30-8:30 pm at the Coleman and Daniels Funeral Home 300 E. Main St. Endicott. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday August 4th at 10am at St. Ambrose Church, 203 Washington Ave. Endicott, NY.
