Obituary of Antonette Bidwell

Antonette Marie (Tedeschi) Bidwell On Wednesday, August 8th, we lost our beloved Wife, Mother, Sister and Grandmother. She passed peacefully in her home surrounded by family. She is predeceased by her parents, Louis and Yolanda Tedeschi; and sisters, Betty, Grace and Angie Olevano. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Lewis Bidwell; her children, Bernie (Cyndi) Bidwell, Brian (Jayne) Bidwell, Marie (John) Weyforth, Toni (Nick) Taber; special nephew, Orlando (Tracy) Olevano; sister, Florence Melazzo; brother, Frank (Rose) Tedeschi; as well as many nieces, nephews, brother and sisters-in-law. Antonette was a devout member of St. Margaret Mary's Church in Apalachin, where she raised her family. She was an active member of the Altar Rosary Society and formed many lasting friendships. She later found joy in joining the parish of The Church of the Holy Family in Endwell. She loved visiting and playing with all of her 6 grandchildren, Sheldon, April, Chrystal, Bobby, Jason, Dylan; 4 great-grandchildren, Alicia, Aaliyah, Alana, Branson; and 5 grandpuppies, Lily, Jack, Annie, Luke & Zac. She taught us all the love of family time whether it was cooking, playing a game or gathering around the piano as she played her favorite Polkas. Her favorite game was Parcheesi (if you played by her rules) and Chinese checkers, although none of us would play that with her because she beat everyone she played. She had the kindest of hearts and the fondest memories of all of the children she babysat over the years. She loved to be in the kitchen preparing family favorites like a big pot of Spaghetti Sauce, Lamb Spiedies or making a German Chocolate Cake. She will be missed and remembered deep within our hearts. A special thanks to Dr. Frank Floyd, Dr. Charles Campbell, UHS Hospital and Lourdes Hospice. There were so many caring professionals that helped her and our family through this time. As per her wishes, a mass will be held at The Church of the Holy Family on Stonefield Street in Endwell on Saturday, August 11th 2012, at 10 a.m. Burial will be at Vestal Memorial Park, Main Street, Vestal, following the service. Arrangements by Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home Inc., Endicott, NY.
