Obituary of Lawrence A. Mancini, Sr.

Lawrence A. "Larry" Mancini, Sr. Endicott: Lawrence A. "Larry" Mancini Sr. 85 of Endicott, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, August 31, 2012 at Willow Point Nursing Home, Vestal. He was predeceased by his son, Mark Mancini and is survived by his loving wife of 58 years and his best friend, Gladys Mancini. He is survived by his children, Lawrence (Lucy) Mancini, Bayshore, NY, Cheryl (Barry) White, Minoa, NY; 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Larry was an active and faithful member of the Endicott Community Church of the Nazarene having served as Sunday School Superintendent and teacher and a member of the church board. He was affectionately know as "Poppo" to all who knew him. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 3, 2012 at 12 noon from the Endicott Community Church of the Nazarene, 1381 Union Center Highway, Endicott, NY with the Rev. Daniel Eddings officiating. Interment services will be held on Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at 10 am at Riverhurst Cemetery, Endwell, NY. The family will receive their friends at the church on Monday from 10 am until the time of the service at noon. The family wishes to thank the staff at Willow Point for their wonderful and compassionate care, also a special thank you to Lorraine Brewer who has been a faithful family friend. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory can be made to the Endicott Community Church of the Nazarene. Arrangements are with the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, Endicott.
