Obituary of Reese Schoonover

Reese Schoonover Vestal: Reese Schoonover, 91, of Vestal, passed away on Tuesday, September 25, 2012, at Wilson Memorial Hospital. He is survived by his daughters, Debra (Steven) Falck, Ft. Myers, FL and Lisa (Michael) Sherwood, Vestal; a son, David (Teresa) Schoonover, Moneta, VA; 9 grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren; his stepchildren, Sue Bakes, Joe (Dawn) Bakes and Tim Bakes. Reese was a veteran of WWII serving in the US Army, was an employee of IBM Endicott for 42 years, was a member of the Vestal United Methodist Church for over 50 years and was an avid golfer. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 29, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. from the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, 765 Main St., Vestal with the Rev. Michael K. Willis officiating. Entombment will be held at the convenience of the family in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive their friends on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.
