Obituary of Janice E Roosa

Janice E. Roosa Vestal: Janice E. Roosa (Rogers), 74, passed away peacefully at River View Manor Health Care Center on September 26, 2012. Janice is predeceased by her parents, Edward and Viola Rogers; five brothers, Ralphy, Donny, Edward, Gerald and Robert Rogers. Janice is survived by a brother Gary Rogers, Endicott; two sisters-in-law, Gail & Jane Rogers; a daughter, two sons and their spouses, Cathy Roosa & Raymond Pessagno, Edward & Sally Roosa, Vestal, Todd & Heather Quigley, Endicott. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jason, Emily & Garrett Roosa, Mikayla Quigley; and several nieces & nephews. Janice was born in Endicott, NY. She raised her family in Vestal, NY. While raising her children, Janice worked at Loblaw's grocery in Vestal, Burt's of Endicott and IBM Endicott. In her retirement she worked at the Vestal museum as the museum's first director. Janice will always be remembered as a devoted mother and grandmother. A private family service will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in the Vestal Park Cemetery at a later date. Special thanks to the loving care provided by the staff at Lourdes Hospice, Wilson South Tower Five and River View Manor Health Care Center.
