Obituary of Barbara J. Reed

Barbara Jeanne Reed Barbara Jeanne Reed, 92, loving mother, passed away peacefully on October 27, 2012 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Binghamton, NY. Barbara, born April 5, 1920, was a lifelong resident of the Broome County area. She was predeceased by her parents, James and Hazel Mable; brother, Kenneth Mable; husband, Bruce Reed; daughters, Barbara Reed and Deborah Reed; and son, David Reed. She is survived by brother, Donald (Irene) Mable; daughters, Susan Millard, Sally Taft, Wendy Haney; and sons, James Reed, Thomas Reed, Lawrence Reed, and Byron Reed. Barbara is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held in the Chapel at the First Presbyterian Church of Endicott, NY on Tuesday, October 30, 2012, at 1:00 p.m. where Barbara was a lifelong member.
