Obituary of Isolina Minidio

Isolina Minidio Endwell: Isolina Minidio (Tucci), of Endwell, 88, passed away Tuesday, November 6, 2012, at Binghamton General Hospital. Predeceased by husband, Corrado, in 2004. Predeceased by her parents, Camillo and Chiara Tucci; also three brothers. Survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Alfredo and Carminella Minidio, Italy; daughter and son-in-law, Lina and Tom Sbarra, Endwell; three grandchildren, Corrado and Monia Minidio, Italy, Justin Sbarra, Endwell; and three great-grandchildren in Italy; one sister-in-law, Assunta Tucci, Italy; one brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Samuele and Concettina Minidio, Italy; also several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was a retired employee of Shelter Workshop. Isolina had a very close and loving relationship with her grandson, Justin Sbarra. In her younger days, she loved to work in her garden and spend time with her close friends. She will be missed by her special roommate, Elizabeth. The family wishes to thank the staff of the ICU at General Hospital and a special thank you to Dr. Ramanujan and his staff for the many years of care during Isolina's illness. A Funeral Mass will be offered Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Church of the Holy Family, Endwell. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the church Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until service time at 10:30. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the American Diabetes Association , PO Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312. Arrangements are by the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home Inc., Endicott.
