Obituary of David G. Merwin

David G. Merwin Endicott: David G. Merwin, 62, of Endicott, passed away on Tuesday, November 20, 2012, at the NYS Veterans Home at Oxford. He was predeceased by his parents, Clyde and Anna (Yarema) Merwin; a sister, Beverly Merwin; an infant brother and his two favorite brothers-in-law, Tracy Farr and Ronald Sears. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Sandra; his children, Jason (Crystal) Merwin, Suzanne (Brad) May, Dustin Merwin and Davey Merwin; his grandchildren, Shawn, Sidney, Nathan, Makenna and Kiersten; 5 brothers, 7 sisters and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. David was a graduate of UE High School, was a veteran of the US Army having served in Vietnam in 1970 and 71. He retired from IBM Endicott after 32 years of service. David was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved listening to music from the 60's and 70's. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 24, 2012, at 3:00 p.m. from the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, 300 E. Main St., Endicott. The family will receive their friends on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
