Obituary of Jacklyn R. Martens

Jacklyn R. Martens Vestal, NY: Jacklyn R. Martens, 87, of Vestal passed away on Sunday, December 2, 2012 at Lourdes Hospital Binghamton. She was predeceased by her husband, Karl; a daughter, Marie O'Connell and a brother, Ralph Cheney. She is survived by her sons, Les Martens, Fred Martens and Charles (Nancy) Martens; eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; her sisters, Mavis (Butch) Hillis, Barbara Newton and Joan (George) Newberry. Jacklyn was a member of the Vestal United Methodist Church, the Ladies Auxillary of the Vestal Fire Department #3 and was an avid bowler. Memorial Services will be held on Friday, December 7, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. from the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, 765 Main St. Vestal with the Rev. Michael Willis officiating. Burial will follow in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive their friends on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
