Obituary of Helen M Chandanais

Helen M. Chandanais Formerly of Campville: Helen M. Chandanais, 85, formerly of Campville, went to be with the Lord Sunday, December 16, 2012, at Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA. She was predeceased by her parents, Howard and Margaret Hopkins; husband, Henry; son, James; brothers and a sister. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Tom and Barbara of Norfolk, VA, Don of Tifton, GA, Cathy and Tom Williams of Cary, NC, Pat of Cary, NC, and Fred and Cindy of Lowman, NY; grandchildren, Tina, Monica, Colette, Donny, Lori, Patty, Kalia, Colin, Breanne, Lexi, Josh, Chelsea, and Ryan; several great-grandchildren; sister, Frances Berti; and several nieces and nephews. She was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Endicott. She was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels of Western Broome County, a retired employee of the Binghamton Press, and a former employee of IBM, Endicott. The family would like to thank Elderwood Nursing Facility in Waverly for their loving care of Helen. A Funeral Mass will be offered Friday at 10 a.m. from Our Lady of Good Counsel Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home Inc. 300 East Main St. Endicott Thursday from 4-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the Meals on Wheels of Western Broome, 705 West Main St., Endicott, NY 13760.
