Obituary of Anne M. Newfrock
Ann M. Newfrock 10/7/1933 - 12/21/2012 It is with incredible sorrow that we had to say goodbye to our wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister and friend. Our beautiful mother has defined us through her sacrifice, patience and simplicity. She fed our bellies with delicious food and our souls with faith and love. However, hidden within this gentle woman, was a tenacious sports fan. Our apologies to all of the umpires and referees that she came in contact with over the years; she still thinks that you made the wrong call against her grandkids. Mom loved to travel and loved people. She would talk to anyone and only found the good in them. Please carry her spirit with you. Being deeply devoted to God and family was her life's journey and she did it perfectly. Mom lived her life with grace and dignity and eventually that is how she left us..peacefully. She leaves behind her husband of 57 years, Michael; her children, Michael and Kathy Newfrock, James and Cricket Newfrock and Linda and David Potochniak. She also leaves behind the most precious part of her life.Joseph, Meredith, Bridget, Grace, Samantha, and Andrea. She was so very proud of them and never missed an opportunity to let you know that. She will be missed by surviving siblings, Tony, Marie and Catherine; nieces and nephews and so many friends. We are certain that she was greeted with open arms by those who have passed before her. Mom was a member of Confraternity of Christian Mothers, The Altar and Rosary Society and Nocturnal Adoration and member of Our Lady of Good Counsel. To anyone and everyone who prayed for her, took care of her, brought a smile to her face and laughter in her heart...we thank you. According to mom's wishes there will be no calling hours. She just hoped that you will be kind and give from your heart.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, December 27, 2012, at 10:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church. Private graveside services will be at Mother of Sorrows Cemetery in Pennsylvania.
