Obituary of Charlotte M Kretzmer

Charlotte M. Kretzmer of Vestal Charlotte M. Kretzmer, 84, formerly of Apalachin, passed away Friday morning, January 9, 2009, with her loving family at her side, and is now in the loving arms of the Lord with her loving family at her side. She was predeceased by her parents, Andrew Ross and Myrtle Hunsinger; daughter, Bonnie Trusdail; grandsons, David James Sosenko and Jamie Brown; her husband, George W. Kretzmer; and three brothers, Andy, Jessie and Paul Ross; one sister, Irene Fitzpatrick. She is survived by nine children, George Brown and his friend, Tim Page, Vestal, Donnie and wife, Jean Brown, Nichols, N.Y., Ronald and wife, Doris Brown, Wysox, Pa., Dale and Sharon Brown, LeRaysville, Pa., Robert and wife, Sue Brown, Little Meadows, Pa., Dixie and Jim Russell, Little Meadows, Pa., Joan and Les Evans, Vestal, Anita Salsman, Athens, Pa., Gail and David King, Little Meadows; 29 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; six sisters and a brother, Mert and husband John Derx, Olean, N.Y., Jean Horsky, Vestal, Grace Boyle, Delaware, Beverly Vangilder, Hudson, Fla., Anna Flanigan, Wyalusing, Pa., Mary Lacey, Wyalusing, Pa. and Fred Ross, Harrickville, Pa. She was a life member of the First Assembly of God Church, Binghamton. She was always there with a helping hand. Her family will miss her bright smile. She was a devoted mother and will be missed by everyone who knew her. The family wishes to thank Dr. Syed Ahmed who Charlotte considered her Guardian Angel, and to the staff at the Renal Care Facility where they were considered as family for their loving care of Charlotte. Funeral and Interment Services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, Inc., St. Rte. 434, Apalachin. The Rev. Ronald Piedmonte will officiate. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Apalachin, in the spring. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 2-5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in her memory to Lourdes Hospice, 4102 Old Vestal Rd., Vestal, N.Y. 13850, or the Renal Care Facility, 27 Park Ave., Binghamton, N.Y. 13901.
