Obituary of Reba C. Pickering

Reba C. Pickering of Vestal Reba C. Pickering, 93, of Vestal, went home to be with the Lord, Monday, January 12, 2009, at Wilson Memorial Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband, Melvin and her brother, James MacDonald. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Donald Huling, Vestal; one son, Gerald Pickering, Vestal; four grandchildren, Donald Huling, Vestal, Tamara Huling and Matthew Macinski, Endicott, Thomas Huling, State of Maine, and Jonathan Huling, Buffalo; two great-grandchildren, Madison and Marcus Macinski; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Doris Gow, Vestal, June and Douglas James, Vestal. Reba was a lifetime member of the Vestal Center United Methodist Church and was very active in the life of the church. She was a supervisor of the daycare center at the Midway Bowling Center in Vestal. A funeral for Reba will be held 12:00 p.m. Saturday, January 17, 2009, at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, Inc., 765 Main St., Vestal. Her Pastor, the Rev. Roger L. Frederick, will officiate. Burial will be in the Vestal Park Cemetery at the family's convenience. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until service time at 12:00 Noon.
