Obituary of Ruth L Dinkel

RUTH ELIZABETH LUX DINKEL 1918 - 2013 Ruth Elizabeth Lux Dinkel, of Endicott, NY, went home to be with her Lord early Saturday afternoon, April 27, 2013 at Ideal Nursing Home. Born in Reno, PA, March 18, 1918 to Julius and Emma Lux, Ruth married Jack C. Dinkel of Buffalo, NY in 1938. He was a successful Woolworth manager for many years. Ruth is survived by her two children, Patsy (and Bob) Miller of Endicott, NY and Jon (and Nancy) Dinkel of Hilton Head Island, SC; three grandchildren, Kevin A. Miller (and Nita) of LaGrange, NC, Kimberly M. Ford of Greene, NY, and Kristopher A. Miller (and Andrea) of Greene, NY; four great grandchildren, Victoria M. Affify (and Adam) of Binghamton, NY, Nickolas A. Miller (and Ericka) of Alaska, Jessica L. Ford of Kentucky, and Kelsie M. Ford of Greene, NY; four great-great grandchildren, Abbigale and Alex Affify, and Gabriel and Rayna Miller; one sister, Dorothy Boughner of Reno, PA; and many nieces and nephews. The calling hours and service will be held on Thursday May 2 at New Life Ministries in Endicott, NY. Calling hours will begin at 11:30 a.m. The Celebration Service for Ruth will begin at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be sent to Ruth's church: New Life Ministries at 201 Hill Avenue Endicott, NY 13760. Arrangements are by the Coleman and Daniels Funeral Home Inc, Endicott.
