Obituary of Jonathan Shirley

Jonathan Shirley Jonathan Shirley, 47, of Endicott. Today we said goodbye to a son, brother and friend. On May 5, 2013, ten years to the day of our father's passing, God reached down and took John in his arms and re-united him with his Dad. Predeceasing John was his father Clayton "Buck" Shirley. Surviving is his mother, Margaret (McKitrick) Garren; brothers, Clayton "Beaver" Shirley (Kate), David (Janel) Shirley, Donald Garren (Leah), Michael Garren, Tommy Garren; sisters, Kathy Shirley and Terry, Merry Ellen De Persis and Mike, Donna and John Waite, Maria and Dick Roach, Ce Ce Garren. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins and a good friend for over 30 years, Frannie Calman. He also will be missed by his dog "Melo". He loved hunting, fishing, riding on his motorcycle, painting and cooking. Funeral Services for Jonathan will be Thursday, May 9 at 2:00 PM at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, Inc. in Endicott. Family and friends may call at 11:00 AM until the time of service at 2:00 PM. Rev. Susan Davis will officiate. Burial will be at Vestal Park Cemetery at a later date.
