Curls was like a second mother to me and her family was, well, my second family. Lori (still my best friend) was the sister I never had. For years, I spent every day after school at the Ciotoli home and Curls always welcomed me with open arms and, if you knew Curls, a plate of food. And then another plate of food. Her cooking was second to none, and I have yet to find a restaurant that can match her lasagna. As great as her cooking was, though, her personality was that much better. She was always in a good mood and she was always laughing. In fact, I can hear her laughter now. Thank you, Curls, for letting me share a piece of your family and a part of your life. Say hi to my dad for me and make him some home-mades, will you? Rest in peace, dear lady. Love, Erin
